This workshop will provide a platform for economists, sociologists, and other social scientists to present and discuss cutting-edge research, exchange ideas, and share insights on various topics related to gender and labor market mismatches. In today’s rapidly evolving economic landscape, understanding the dynamics of labor market mismatch is crucial for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners alike.

The Workshop will conclude with a Public Policy Panel: “Labor Market Mismatches and Public Policy: from data evidence” featuring Nicolás Ratto, Head of Labor Mediation and Prospecting Department at the Ministry of Labor; Marcela Perticará, Associate Professor and Department Head Department of Economics – School of Administration and Economics of Universidad Diego Portales; and Rodrigo Krell Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Evaluation and Productivity. Panel Moderated by Paola Bordón, Alternate Director of the Millenium Nucleus LM2C2.
