The Outreach Project, or PME, is one of the Millennium Science Initiative's foundational pillars. It consists of dissemination and scientific transfer activities by the Institutes and Nuclei, with the primary goal of connecting the Millennium Centers with society, the educational sector, and the public and/or private sectors.
The PME encourages Centers to communicate science bearing society in mind, giving them visibility and space.
The program aims to enrich students' perspectives, provide new knowledge, and open doors to further personal and academic development. For a full week, from January 8th to 12th, 2024, students will immerse themselves in a stimulating academic environment, participating in masterclasses, interactive workshops, and practical activities at the Casona de Las Condes Campus of the Universidad Andrés Bello. This university experience will be a unique opportunity to broaden the horizons of our students.

Their journey began on Monday, January 8, with an inaugural lecture by Felipe Balmaceda, Director of the Nucleo Milenio LM2C2, who introduced them to the field of economics, teaching them to "think like economists" and understand market dynamics. The day-long session was comprehensive, with students being provided transportation, study materials, breakfast, and a nutritious and delicious lunch.
